Description
This is part 1 of 2 parts of the Crisis Intervention Team Training Course that must be completed to fulfill the Trueblood Mandate for Washington State.

This 4-hour independent course discusses the goal of an effective Crisis Intervention Team program and the roles of public safety responders within the crisis intervention team. Topics include awareness and indicators of different types of mental health illnesses and stigmas, situations to relay to responders and to assist individuals in crisis, identify the relationship between mental illness and suicide, recognize suicidal indicators, and identify resources for community mental health and crisis outreach.

Students must finish the presentation module, test module, successfully pass the quiz and complete the evaluation in order to receive a certificate. If you have any difficulty, please reach out to the Help Desk Support.
